What special equipment is needed to implement HR-ease?
If HR-ease is purchased in an Application
Service Provider (ASP .NET) environment, all that is needed is Internet
access. If a License is purchased, we
will help each client to determine what existing equipment and software is
already available and what additional requirements, if any are necessary.

What additional training is needed to implement and utilize HR-ease?
HR Ease hand holds each client during the implementation process so that
however many “Super Users” the client would like are well
trained. Generally employees do not
need training, as the system is so user friendly. However, HR Ease offers a customer service
support line if client is interested.

I have legacy systems and applications. Must I
upgrade my system to integrate with HR-ease?
No. We develop a customized interface to your systems. Using HR-ease applications will, in effect, be
updating your legacy applications just by taking advantage of our web
capabilities.

Will I need more staff?
No. You may even need fewer staff! Human Resources functions are paper and
time intensive. A simple life change can necessitate changes in benefits,
payroll, beneficiaries and more. In the past, such updates were done manually
and usually required a new form for each type of update. With HR-ease, updates are automated and
instantly modified across systems. This eases your company's administrative
paperwork burden. If you choose not to
reduce administrative staff, those personnel can work on the more important
aspects of their positions such as retention and recruiting.

If employees must update information themselves, will this reduce
their productivity?
No. In the traditional HR environment, an employee would have complete forms,
fill them out with a significant amount of duplicate data (name, address,
dependents, etc.) and return them to HR. Now, the same results can be
accomplished at a PC in less time, without leaving the workspace or from home
during off hours.

Must I choose the whole suite of components?
No. You can start with a minimal configuration and expand as your
company’s requirements grow.

Can HR-ease take my company's specific needs and business rules into
account?
Yes. We know there is no "one size fits all". Every company has its
own special circumstances, and every HR-ease application is customized so it fits each customer's
business requirements.

Will HR-ease applications integrate with my ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) applications?
Yes. Our application currently interfaces to many
popular ERP/HRMS (Enterprise Resource Planning/Human Resource Management
System) systems. Our technical professionals will ensure seamless
integration, regardless of your brand of ERP/HRMS application or back-end
office systems.

I'm concerned about security.
If a client is using the HR-ease ASP (Application Service Provider) environment, many
precautions are taken including 128 bit Encryption utilizing Secure Socket
Layers (SSL) connections, several firewalls and security software, continual
data back up, emergency power generation equipment, and much more. Please request our technical white papers
for more specific information. If a
client purchases an HR-ease license to deploy in their environment, the clients
existing security protocols secure the application.
Systems access is controlled through User Names and Passwords.

How long does it take to implement HR-ease?
Our product has been designed for rapid and cost-effective implementation.
Our main goal is to make your implementation simple and effective, delivering
our product and its functionality to your employees as fast as possible. Generally implementation time (including
analysis through deployment) is between six and twelve weeks.

How much does HR-ease cost?
We have created flexible pricing models geared to meet your budget
requirements, including the ability to spread out implementation costs and
pay for the application on a subscription basis. Prices are based on the scope of each
specific project and we will be happy to provide pricing upon further
evaluation. Generally, HR-ease prices are 10% to 50% below our
competitors.

How much time or money can my company save by
implementing HR-ease?
A Hunter Group HR Survey in 2001 reports compelling savings for companies
surveyed: an average 50% reduction in cycle time, an average 60% reduction in
transaction costs and 100 percent return on investment in a year. Your
company's specific savings will depend on the components you choose and your
existing systems.

Some of my employees are not online and do not have
a PC in their workspace. How can they
benefit from this application?
Simple. A workstation or several PCs can be set up in a kiosk area for easy
access. Additionally, management has
the ability to “Shadow” an employee. If paper enrollment forms are used for certain
individuals, management can still make their elections for them, directly
into HR-ease. Clients utilizing the HR Ease Call
Center will have access to a toll free number where employees can speak to a
Benefits Expert directly (live interaction – not IVR) and make all
elections and changes over the phone.

How does HR-ease differ from a traditional ERP or HRMS applications?
HR-ease offers much of the same functionality available in
traditional ERP/HRMS systems with the added advantage of being Web-based and
