Essential to the HR-ease philosophy is the fact that each client’s
business rules are programmed into the application. Each screen is dynamically generated based
on the allowed access of each employee.
Benefit’s eligibility is determined for each employee, allowing
them access to Initial Enrollment, Open Enrollments, or Live Event Wizards
only if they are eligible and only for the appropriate timeframe. Individuals within different benefit
classes view the appropriate benefit plans, information about those plans,
rates, and benefit amounts. |

Step 1: Analysis A thorough evaluation
of each client’s particular business rules is performed. Process flow diagrams showing the before
and after picture are created to ensure that all necessary procedures are met
by the HR-ease application. Functional experts
evaluate Plan Descriptions and other plan documents to determine eligibility
rules, multipliers, rate calculations, and other plan guidelines and rules. Existing systems are
evaluated and communication technology is analyzed to determine the most
appropriate interface process to back-office and third party systems. Project deliverables,
timelines and task tracking methods are mutually defined and agreed upon. Step 2: Development Business rules,
eligibility rules, benefit programs, and plan requirements are programmed. Interfaces are mapped
out. Customizations are
designed and prototyped. Step 3: Conversion Benefit
programs, plan information, rates, historical benefits data, employee
demographic, salaries, and other such existing information is gathered and
loaded to HR-ease. Step 4: Testing We
create the application prototype, navigational aspects and security levels in
a testing environment where the customer can evaluate and test that all rules
and requirements are appropriate, that rates and calculations are accurate,
and that any customizations meet their expectations. Test
interfaces are run between in-house systems and to third parties until final
approval is Throughout the
process, we test our application to ensure that your design specifications
are being met and that the software is performing as expected. We then have a
focused testing stage, where development and customization are controlled.
Real data is loaded into the application and both functional and technical
employees are utilized to ensure the quality and reliability of the
application we deliver to you. Step 5: Deployment After all phases of
development, installation, and testing are complete, your new Web
applications are deployed. |
